In his working life, Jacques was a decorator of shop windows. He came from a wealthy family. He loved old cars, cigars and paid a lot of attention to the decoration of his home. In his last years of life he was not very well off financially, but the furnishings of his home still testified to the grandeur of yesteryear and his careful attention to detail when furnishing his home. I found him an intriguing personality and a good reason to make a photo series about him.
