In 2012 I was asked to make portraits of the last sisters of the St. Elisabeth Stift in Kerkrade. At that time, the monastery was converted into a care center for the elderly. The housing association then wanted to make a book as a tribute to the last sisters for the reopening of the care center. In these portraits, their religious work or hobby is central.
